I wanted to take the time to thank you both for a wonderful weekend stay at The Barn in the New Forest. My mum and I had an absolutely super time in the New Forest and The Barn was the perfect base for our weekend activities.

We both loved the high-spirited welcome, the beautiful house, the ethical outlook and the glorious food. Thank you for providing such a lovely home-away-from-home.

Thank you for a blissful vegan holiday. It was fantastic to have a vegan English Breakfast to start our days' cycling. The evening meals were great too - please work on a Barn cookbook! The location is perfect for a few days exploring by bike and it was great to have friendly comments on routes (and we love all the bike pictures!) Now we are back home we wanted to say thank you for our wonderful stay last week. We had the very best of the weather for the two days we stayed and the warm welcome and comfortable accommodation made our brief stay fantastic. It was so great not having to worry about whether there would be anything we could eat - in fact we will have to go on a diet because of all the wonderful food we had (we even found space for the sticky toffee pudding). We will be extolling your virtues to all our friends and I am sure be will be back for another visit in the future.

We highly recommend The Barn to anyone who is looking for a wonderfully peaceful stay with delicious menus where you are spoilt for choice and are pampered by your hosts without intrusion on your privacy or plans. We would even recommend the breakfast menu and delightful evening meal to meat eaters - you won't miss it!

The rooms have everything you need - space, tea/coffee, comfortable beds, en suite, TV, warmth and quiet - best night's sleep in ages. And finally, at The Barn you are close to places of interest and the New Forest trails and can benefit from Richard and Sandra's expert advice.

Hi Richard & Sandra, I would like to say a huge thank-you for a wonderful 3 days and making Mike’s birthday so special. I searched your website so I could write a glowing testimonial, but whatever I tried to say has already been said many times over. Yes - the 100% vegan food with all those superb flavours really was to die for, the service was outstanding, the room was extremely warm and comfortable. That said – it still doesn’t do justice to our experience as there was so much more than that. It was the little thoughtful touches that made it so special. We never once had to ask for anything – it was already there as if by magic. The evening meals were blissfully unhurried and relaxed. Not once did anyone commit the usual ‘waiters sin’ of keep popping in to see if everything was alright. We just can’t wait to come back and do it all over again. We would very much like to thank you both for a really lovely stay at your wonderful vegan B&B. We felt very much at ease and were able to relax and enjoy our few days. The food was fantastic, and such a relief for both of us not having to worry about what is suitable to eat.

We had a safe journey home and managed to go to Coventry and get our supply of foodstuffs including the rice milk Chris liked.

Writing to say what a lovely stay we have just had at your Guest House.
You both made us feel really welcome and the food throughout our short stay has been first class, in fact the shallot and chestnut stew we had on the first night we are both still talking about, and wondered if we could trouble you for the recipe.
The only dampener on our short stay was the weather, but hopefully when we return next year that will be a little kinder to us.
We will certainly be recommending you to others.
